This course discusses how to avoid the hazards of these powerful machines with different types of cranes, proper maintenance, including cleaning, pre- use inspection, operational checklist, hand signals for controlling cranes, awareness of abnormal function and load handling. Hands on training are recommended

  • Perform inspections and requirements

  • Identify limits of each type of rigging equipment

  • Identify the load, weight, center of gravity, lift points 

  • Perform basic lifting and rigging operations
